Nana you were a huge part of my life. You came to my birthday parties when I was younger and I fondly remember you dancing with us all and joining in the games. You were with us on every Christmas day in my life with grandpops and then in later years, on your own. You have left me with many happy memories that can never be taken away, and come to mind when I am missing you. I hope you are happy where you have gone and look down on us all from time to time. I will miss you always.

From Linda and Ivor
Thinking of you especially on your birthday. You are still, as you always have been, a part of our lives and every day you are in our thoughts. This music we are listening to is your favourite. You always said your Dad played it on the violin and he made the instrument 'sing'.
With our love, as always, Linda and Ivor x x

To Pink Grandma
Missing you grandma. I am glad I got a chance to spend the first seven years of my life getting to know you. I will always love you and one day I will see you again. I will never forget you.

A rose once grew
where all could see,
sheltered beside
a garden wall,
And as the days passed
swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall...

One day, a beam of light
shone through
a crevice that had
opened wide ~
The rose bent gently
toward its warmth
then passed beyond
to the other side

Now, you who deeply
feel its loss,
be comforted ~ the rose blooms there ~
its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by
God's own loving care.

(bonnie-barratt family )

God saw you were getting tired
And a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around you
And whispered, 'Come to me.'
With tearful eyes we watched you
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best
